Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy
Minimally invasive surgery for fibroids, polyps, endometriosis and uterine anomalies.
Endoscopic surgery is the general name for camera-guided operations performed through tiny incisions in the abdomen or through the cervix — minimal scarring and fast recovery. It plays a critical role in both diagnosing and treating causes of infertility.
Methods
- Laparoscopy: visualisation and surgery through 0.5-1 cm abdominal ports — endometriosis, ovarian cysts, tubal problems, fibroids
- Hysteroscopy: camera examination of the uterine cavity with treatment in the same session — polyps, septum, adhesions, submucous fibroids
Correcting intrauterine pathology before IVF directly increases transfer success. Procedures are usually day cases; patients are discharged within 24 hours and return to normal life within days.
